Wow, it has been far too long since I posted on this blog. Here is a little number I drummed up for a series I am working on, in which I am designing a unique, and creative alternate jersey for each team in the NHL. I have not done a concept in a long while, and it has been even longer since I have done a canucks concept. Since doing concepts for exclusively one team can get a bit boring, I may just start posting all concepts I make here on my site... but I'm not too sure about that.
I am wanting to spend more time actually doing concept art, not formatting, or writing blogs, so I have switched to a simpler template, and will say no more on this blog post. Enjoy, comment (if anyone actually still reads this blog), and thanks for stopping by.
Yes, some still read you... Nice concept, but Jhonny seems lost on the pattern. Maybe a simpler logo (stick in the rink?)... Otherwise, nice for a third or special event.

I am just getting back into making concepts after a break that was too long, and right now I am really trying to push myself creatively. these designs aren't the most polished I have ever done, but hopefully drawing on my creativity and some great feedback from people like yourself, I will be able to polish them into some really good designs.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about Johnny getting lost in the plaid, but I do still like the idea of Johnny Canuck, the lumberjack, on lumberjack plaid. Perhaps a more subtle plaid pattern and a good outline would do the trick... I'll see what I can do.
